Meta's Threads app has achieved a significant milestone since its launch, surpassing ChatGPT in user numbers.

Threads reached 100 million users in just five days, while ChatGPT took 60 days to achieve the same milestone last year.

Meta launched Threads on July 6, making it available for iOS and Android users in 100 countries.

 The app is currently free to download from the App Store.

Threads garnered 2 million user sign-ups within two hours of its launch.

The number of sign-ups increased to 10 million in seven hours and reached 30 million within 12 hours.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, shared the news of Threads success and expressed his delight at reaching 100 million users in five days.
